ACYD was established to promote bilateral, institutional dialogue between Australia and China through both government and non-government organisations. ACYD has been remarkably successful in that regard. In recent years, many of the delegates have themselves held positions in government and business at the coalface of Australia-China relations. The relationships that ACYD fosters between young Australian and Chinese leaders are already paying dividends and will continue to do so in years to come.
