On 20th Jan 2020, Jade Little, Chairperson of the Australia-China Youth Dialogue participates in the sixth annual Australia-China High Level Dialogue. Co-chaired by former Prime Minister, the Hon John Howard OM AC, and former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Honorary President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, Li Zhaoxing, the Dialogue will be attended by senior Australian and Chinese representatives from across government, business, academia and the arts.
2019 ACYD Summary Report
This report summarises the tenth ACYD held in Shanghai from 20-23 September. Topics discussed at this year’s dialogue centred on Technology. We deep dived into particular themes, including geopolitics, trade and investment, people-to-people exchanges and knowledge collaboration. In addition, this year also marked the tenth Anniversary of the ACYD, upon which we reflected why and how the ACYD was formed, stories of people impacted by the ACYD over the past decade, and looked to future of both the ACYD and more broadly the Australia-China relationship.

Law firm targets take aim at gender imbalance
Leading law firms are attempting to redress the gender imbalance in their most senior ranks by imposing targets for the proportion of women who should be appointed to partnership. ACYD alumna Edwina Kwan is one of the newest partner at King & Wood Mallesons, who was recently promoted while still on maternity leave.
