Speaking one week before the release of his book The Rise and Fall of the House of Bo, Garnaut provides behind the scenes insight into the inner workings of Beijing's political elite.

Michael Lynch AM CBE, CEO of Hong Kong's West Kowloon Cultural District Authority discusses the enormous challenges and opportunities associated with building an arts precinct from scratch. In a wide-ranging speech at Beijing's Red Gate Gallery, Lynch, who previously held positions with the Sydney Theatre Company, Australia Council and London's Royal Festival Hall, also responded to questions from Dialogue delegates and a public audience.

ANZ CEO Mike Smith gives a special video address for the 2012 ACYD

In this special video address for the 2012 ACYD, ANZ CEO Mike Smith discusses the role and passion that China has played in his life personally and professionally. Moreover, he notes the important role that China has for ANZ's corporate strategy, in addition to the influence it has across many aspects of Australia's economy and society. It is for this reason, that there needs to be, through important institutions and organisations such as the ACYD, an "increased and sustained dialogue, and engagement across all sectors of society" between Australia and China. It is for this reason that the ANZ is proud to partner with the ACYD for this year's dialogue.

Special 2012 ACYD Address by AiGroup CEO Innes Willox

In this special address for the 2012 Austalia-China Youth Dialogue, AiGroup CEO Innes Willox discusses the work that AiGroup does in China. Moreover, he talks about the great partnership that the ACYD and the AiGroup possess. He further notes that the attractiveness of the ACYD is due to its ability to build long-lasting links between young professionals in both Australia and China.

Professor Hugh White on Australia-China relations at the 2011 ACYD

Hugh White is Professor of Strategic Studies at Australian National University and a Visiting Fellow at the Lowy Institute for International Policy. In this keynote address to the 2011 ACYD he discusses the key questions and issues around Australia’s place in Asia. In particular, he talks about how China’s economic growth affects Australia’s security and challenges Australia’s relationship with the United States of America.
