This year celebrates the 10th anniversary of ACYD
Beyond daily topics, during this year’s 4-day dialogue we will introduce Technology as the overarching theme.
Each day, various topics surrounding the bilateral relationship will be approached and examined through this lens.
How to apply
Delegates will need to be:
Citizens of Australia or China (incl. HK, Macau and Taiwan residents)
Between the ages of 25 and 40
Committed to advancing the Australia-China relationship through their chosen field. If you have little experience with Australia-China affairs to date, you are still welcome to apply. You will need to indicate in your application why participating in ACYD will be of benefit to the relationship now or into the future.
To lodge your application, click here. The portal will be open until 19 June. You will be required to fill in details about yourself (e.g. name, DOB) and also upload a single PDF document comprised of:
A resume (including date of birth and nationality, no more than 2 pages)
A statement of interest in letter form (300 words maximum) where the applicant explains why they are committed to the Australia-China Relationship
One page reference endorsing you to attend.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Delegates are responsible for organising their own flights, travel insurance and visas if applicable. ACYD will cover the costs of all meals, accommodation and activities over the course of the 4-day dialogue. ACYD will also provide AU$ 500 flight subsidy to delegates travelling internationally to and from Shanghai (flight tax invoice required).
Delegates are required to fully engage in the dialogue and attend all sessions and activities. No partial attendance is allowed.
