The 2013 volume is co-published by the Australia-China Youth Association (ACYA) and the University of Sydney China Studies Centre (CSC), and for the first time has been rendered completely bilingual by the ACYA Translation Sub-Committee and peer-reviewed by academic staff of the CSC. The Journal is edited by ACYD Publications Manager Neil Thomas and has this year published an article by 2013 ACYD Delegate Timothy Coghlan entitled 'Can Chinese Consumer Brands Have Global Influence' and a creative piece by 2012 ACYD Delegate Gareth Durrant entitled 'The Naked Artist'.

The Journal provides a high-quality and high-visibility platform for students and young professionals to publish academic essays, opinion articles and creative work pertaining to some aspect of Australia and China. It is a unique publication that plays an important role in giving a voice to Australian and Chinese students and young professionals in the Australia-China academic discourse, covering a wide variety of topics and writing styles.

The Journal will be officially launched at an event hosted by the University of Sydney China Studies Centre later this month.
