How did the ACYD have an impact on where you are today?

Looking back, I am thankful for my decision to apply for the ACYD eight years ago, which gave me so many inspirations by bringing together a group of excellent young talents from China and Australia from different walks of life, each having a unique perspective on the Australia-China relationship. My vision and understanding of not only the relationship between the two countries, its development, but also the world outside in general, have been lifted to the next level, which have greatly improved the way I see this rapidly changing world.

why do you think people should apply today?

As a Chinese citizen, I have always paid close attention to the Australia-China relationship, and applying to the ACYD raised my knowledge on the topic as well as connect with a community. I highly recommend young leaders to apply for the ACYD for its richness of the content, the diversity of topics discussed, as well as the people-to-people connections created during the full-fledged program and the alumni community. You are not just attending one single event – you will be tapping into a world with whole new perspectives and make friends!
