PRESS RELEASE: Meet the delegates of the 13th ...

This year’s delegates are emerging leaders coming from a wide range of professions – policymakers, analysts, technologists, senior managers, creatives, academics and entrepreneurs. They will come together in Chengdu, China for a 4 day dialogue, bringing with them their experience and expertise from various fields to discuss issues pertinent to the future of the Australia China relationship.

The Australia China Youth Dialogue is excited to announce that it will host the 13th Australia-China Youth Dialogue in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, from Friday 17 November to Monday 20 November 2023. 

中澳青年对话非常高兴地宣布，第十三届对话将于2023年11月17日（星期五）至11月20日（星期一）于中国四川省成都市举行。

2022 ACYD Summary Report

The enclosed report provides an overview of the 11th and 12th ACYD events, which took place inHobart, Tasmania, and Perth, Western Australia, in May and November 2022, respectively. Unique tothis year, two dialogues were conducted due to interruptions caused by COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021.

The Australia China Youth Dialogue (ACYD) provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with and be inspired by emerging leaders who are passionate about contributing to the bilateral relationship in a constructive way. The 12th ACYD coincided with historic talks in Bali and the 50th anniversary of the Australia-China relationship, underscoring the importance of the ACYD mission to promote frequent and meaningful dialogue and cross-cultural exchange. Opinion: Australia-China Creative Industries - by 2013 Delegates

After an intensive week of seminars, speeches and sessions on issues ranging from security and the environment to global trade and politics, the final topic for discussion at the 2013 Australia-China Youth Dialogue (ACYD) was that of Australia-China creative industries. Speakers included Leslie Always, Greame Lewsey, Paul Lacy, and Michell Guo.

The Australia-China Youth Dialogue 2013 Report is now officially released, proudly presented to you by the ACYD team. This year's dialogue was held in Canberra and Melbourne for one week during late September. Now we welcome the latest 30 delegates to join the ranks of another 90 outstanding ACYD alumni who have, or are moving into, positions of influence and leadership across the spectrum of the Australia-China dynamic.
